Are children allowed at the wedding?

Certainly! Children are allowed at the wedding, but please inform the wedding party so we can plan accordingly.

Can I bring a plus one?

Certainly! Please indicate so in your RSVP.

What is the wedding attire?

Beach formal.

What is the local language?

English is the official language.

What is the currency and exchange rate?

While the Eastern Caribbean Dollar is the official currency of Anguilla, the US dollar is widely accepted across the island. ATMs can be found throughout the island.

Currently, the exchange rate is US $1.00 = EC $2.68

Things to do on the island?

Sand and Sea are the primary attractions for Anguilla. There are 33 pristine beaches in Anguilla. Boat excursions, Moke rentals and snorkeling are common activities. Anguilla is also known as the “foodie” island of the Eastern Caribbean. There are more gourmet restaurants per capita than Manhattan!

What do I need to pack?

Mostly swimwear and light clothing. The hotel rooms will have AC but most other places in Anguilla do not. The average day in November is a beautiful 85 degrees!

Travel

Do I need a Passport to travel?

Yes, you will need a valid passport. Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory, and entry requirements typically include a valid passport with at least 6 months validity. Please don't wait to get or renew!

Which airlines fly to Anguilla?

American flys directly into Anguilla. Other airlines (American, Delta, United) flight into the neighboring island of St Martin. From St Martin, Anguilla is just a 25 min boat ride away.

What do I need to rent and operate a vehicle?

A valid driver’s license and insurance is required to obtain a temporary Anguillan driver’s license. Note: Driving is on the left-hand side of the road and the standard speed limit is 30mph. For assistance with car rentals, contact Allison. Their are also taxis available.

Lodging

Can I book outside of the hotel?

We urge you to join us at the resort we’ve reserved, Staying here grants access to amenities like the pool, spa, etc. If you opt for another place, you may miss out on these perks. Feel free to contact Allison for help with reservations or alternative options.

What if I want to stay longer than 3 nights?

Longer stays are certainly welcome! The Bride and Groom will be on island from November 9th to the 19th. Here are some options:

1) The resort will honor the wedding rates for extended stays. You can call them directly if you have trouble booking the additional days through our exclusive link.

2) Most of the wedding party is staying at the resort from November 14th-17th and booking a more economic option before and after the wedding weekend. This option is available to you too! For help finding stay options before the 14th and after the 17th contact Allison for help!
